Hope & Healing Health Care

In 2022, the V4U Trust started the Free Weekly Medical Clinic (Hope & Healing Health Care) at the Community Centre (Balaji Nagar). It’s a slum area where people who are very poor and predominantly economically backward live. We provide free treatment to needy patients, who have no financial means to receive medical care.

The teams in the medical department include doctors, ophthalmologists, pharmacists, and lab technicians to provide all-around medical treatment to the patients. We check the patient’s vitals like BP and blood sugar regularly and provide free medicines to them for a week. We have patients with High BP and diabetes who regularly come for checkups and take their medicines. They also don’t realize that they have eyesight issues as well. V4U provides free eye checkup, provides hundreds of free spectacles and also helps many to undergo cataract operations.

 Every patient is given a ‘Registration Number’, so that whenever they come for the checkup, they only need to carry the Registration number with them. This helps our OPD Staff to get the patient file from the records and medical assistance is provided accordingly. The medical prescriptions are not given to patients as they might misplace it, rather we explain & guide the patients how to take the medicines regularly.
