Women in Telangana especially in rural areas are mostly dependent on their husbands or fathers for their needs.

Tailoring classes are intended to create economic development for rural women and girls. This program offers women the opportunity to become self-employed, which in turn brings them the respect of their husbands and others in their communities. As they gain status, the self-confidence of the women rises and they become role models for their children.

During the first round of the training program the beneficiaries learned and developed skills in sewing and tailoring work. Over time participants of the tailoring program have become efficient in producing hand-sewn items and are being trained on how to grow their business. After the successful completion of the tailoring program, certificates were issued to the participants.

We have successfully completing the batch wise of Free Tailoring Course at V4U Trust – Community Centre, Balaji Nagar, Hyderabad.
