Food for Hungry (One Meal a Day)

The very basic necessity, for living after oxygen, is food. 75% of the rural India survives on ₹ 33 per day. It becomes utterly impossible with such a low income to provide good food, clothing, and comfortable shelter for everyone in the house.

It is said that charity of food is the highest form of charity because it satisfies the hunger of the recipient, unlike the other things that cannot give them full satisfaction.

V4U has started a new program in 2012-13 called food for hungry. Our aim to start this program is to eradicate hunger in the program area at least for one day. This was one day program where we have distributed about 500 food packets to beggars on streets, footpath and pavement dwellers at LV Prasad Hospital, Hyderabad.
